Pot Life

Pot life is the period over which the mix is still sufficiently mobile to be capable of being transferred from a reservoir to the site of cure. The mode of transfer may be by pouring, spreading, brushing, trowelling or gun extrusion depending on application. The time period may be considered to start from the point of mixing, and is term linked with production operations (as distinct from shelf life). Pot life is essentially synonymous with application time or pour time.
